Topoloveni Plum Magiun is registered as a Protected Geographical Indication product according to the Implementing Regulation (EU) No. Commission Regulation (EC) No 338/2011 of 7 April 2011 entering a name in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications (Magiun de prune Topoloveni- PGI). The registration number of the PGI product is RO / PGI / 0005/0763 and the class of the product is Class 1.6. Fruit, vegetables and cereals, fresh or processed.

Topoloveni plum magiun is a concentrated paste made of fresh, homogeneous, viscous, easily spreadable plums, which is used in the diet of people of all ages (from the age of 6 months, when the diet diversification begins), to diabetics, because has a low glycemic index (on the recommendation of the attending physician). It can be used, both as a breakfast and as a dessert, as such or as a filling in various pastries.

The product is entirely natural, obtained through a technology and recipe from 1914, without the addition of refined sugar or other industrial sweeteners, without preservatives. Carefully selected plums (from at least four varieties) are cooked in special double-walled pots without direct fire, so that the sanogenic qualities of fresh plums are preserved almost entirely. This product is very rich in macroelements, microelements, macronutrients, micronutrients - phytonutrients, antioxidants (natural fibers).

Ingredients: ONE INGREDIENT! FRUIT ONLY. Fresh, well-ripened plums, selected from at least 4 Romanian varieties.

Due to the traditional preparation process, the Topoloveni plum magiun has been awarded by international institutes, such as the International Taste and Quality Institute, Brussels and Superior Taste Awards, London
